The men's discipleship group meets every Monday evening and Men's prayer fellowship meets every Tuesday morning.

The men are also involved in periodic Saturday morning prayer breakfasts. The goal is to come together in one mind and heart to pray for our church, its leaders, and our congregation. If there is anything the team can do to better assist you in attending, let them know.

The women's ministry provides many opportunities to become involved in the life of the church. Such opportunities include conferences, Bible studies, The Secret Sister Project, and fellowship events.

On most Thursdays at 10am there is a Ladies Church & Neighborhood Bible study at the church.

Scranton Bible Church offers many opportunities for adults to work with children and for children to become involved with the life of the church.

During Sunday morning services, there is a nursery with nursery workers available for the youngest of our children, Sunday School, and Junior Church. Junior church is offered weekly to young children during the morning worship service. For more information about the nursery and junior church contact Wendy Thompson.

During the week, Good News Club for boys and girls ages 4-11 meets every Wednesday at 7:00pm, except during the summer. Good News Club closes out the school year with an Awards Banquet for Good News Club workers, children & their families in May.

Also available for children during the week, is the P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens) children's/youth choir for those ages 4-17 which meets once a week in the evenings. For more information regarding the P.U.S.H. children's/youth choir contact Kay Woodard.

In July, Vacation Bible School (VBS) provides a week long opportunity to reach out to the children of the neighborhood. In August, VBS week was followed-up by the VBS carnival, a one day event.

If you desire to work with children, you must attend the Child Protective Policy training and complete necessary paperwork. This training and paperwork is valid for one year and must be renewed yearly if you desire to continue working with children from one year to the next. Attending the training and completing the paperwork will not guarantee you working with children.
